Diagnostic Assessment

ADHD and Autism Assessment Services

At Therapy w. Jasany, we offer culturally humble, trauma-responsive diagnostic assessments for adults residing in California and Ohio. Our assessments are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions, including ADHD, autism, and common co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and PMDD. We specialize in late diagnoses, particularly for high masking individuals, and recognize the clinical significance of subthreshold scores.

Our goal is to support you in understanding your unique neurological and psychological profile, and how these experiences have shaped your life. This assessment is a helpful step in gaining clarity, and it offers the insight needed to navigate your path forward with compassion and intention.

What You Can Expect from the Assessment
Our neurodevelopmental assessments are thorough and consist of three main parts:

  1. Evaluation (Part 1)
The first part of the process involves scoring standardized measures and reviewing your personal narrative. These tools help us capture your experiences and identify patterns that may be related to ADHD, autism, or other conditions.

  2. Interview (Part 2)
This phase includes two 90-minute clinical interviews. We’ll explore your history, context, and the experiences highlighted in the standardized measures and personal narrative. To ensure a well-rounded understanding, we encourage input from someone close to you — a parent, sibling, partner, or other significant individual. This can be done either by having that person accompany you during one of the interviews or through a written statement they provide. This perspective is valuable in deepening our understanding of your experiences, but is not a requirement.

  3. Feedback (Part 3)
The final part of the assessment is a 75-minute feedback session. During this session, we will review your scores, discuss the diagnostic findings, and explore potential resources and next steps. If needed, accommodation development can be added as an additional service, helping you navigate school, work, or other environments that may require specific support.
